The cult classic Smena 8M (Смена 8M) is a viewfinder style 35 mm film camera made at the Russian LOMO Factory in St. Petersburg, and produced between the late 70's up to the late 80s. This is a clean and fully functional unit, ready for action. Achieve exceptionally sharp images and deep colors with the irresistible Russian Lomo Smena 8M. Smena M8 = Смена M8, Smena means Young Generation or Relay. We have sold hundreds of these over the years and have grown to love the Triplet Lens on these babies.
There are various types and sub-types of the Smena Cameras, and a number of Export types were released and badged as other makes in various countries.
These cameras are renown for their unique optics and responsible for the Lomo imaging craze as we know it today.
